but is that the only way? I admit I am . . . scared. Of getting hurt. I fought a dragon and I was scared because . . . well for a lot of reasons.

But then the dragon died and people lived and that's a happy ending.

If there was no other option, then there is no reason to question the outcome.

It's only when life is taken carelessly or without cause that lethal measures as suspect.

Yes... that may be true! I think in many cases, people's principles (or lack thereof) can color their judgment. It's also a matter of perspective - at which point does a situation become unsalvageable? A question of judgment! And of experience. And of resources, of course.

In other words, trust yourself! If others disagree, that's likely inevitable.

That said... it's always regrettable when a life is lost through no fault of their own. And, of course, being infected with a zombie virus does count as faultless.
