(What a rarity! A video is being transmitted from none other than Tom Riddle. Fear not, he is not in the shot. You can sleep easier for a little while longer. However a dark serpent is clearly watching him, uncoiling to show their full length.
And what an impressive length it is!
A skeletally thin, pale hand dips down and caresses the snake's head and there is...
Whispering. The serpent makes similar sounds in return, seeming to answer. A soft laugh breaks the spell between them and the snake slithers up the hand - and presumably arm - and out of sight.
A crack - like lightning hitting a tree - follows and there is an explosion of light, sound and movement.
Someone can move very fast.
Once the world rights itself, a long finger taps the screen and the serpent hisses, coming into view to bare their fangs.)
One mustn't eavesdrop unless they are prepared for the consequences. Wouldn't you agree...?
(The snake play bites at the machine only to be coaxed away with words in that same foreign tongue.)
...let us see you fed.
