[It looks like somebody's posting an album of images to the network straight from their communicator. All of them have the same geotag, coming from De Chima, and they show different landmarks around the city: hospitals, statues, shopping centers, parks. Like somebody's trying to compile a "best of the best" of urban life... or just acting like a tourist and snapping whatever they think is interesting. All in all, the album has about 30 such images.

Accompanying the impromptu travelogue is some text, with the user ID reading "Mina":]

Hello, America, hello, Virginia, and hello, De Chima!! (ﾉ^∇^)ﾉ I suppose you could say this is my helloWorld()! Walking around the city and getting to see what this new world has in store was super fun.

Oh yeah, since I'm new, I may as well do some kind of introduction, right? I'm Mina, and I'm a hero of Earth!

Well, my Earth, because of the whole... multi-universe thing. Still have to wrap my head around that...(・_・ヾ Basically, there was an alien invasion, and I helped kick the aliens out and save my world. I was in the middle of going to their planet for a rescue mission, buuuuuuut the whole Porter thing grabbed me from space! And now I'm here.

While I'm here, though I'm going to be working as a medical office assistant (which is good because that was my old job at home) and going to school! I've never been to school before! That's going to be really, really exciting.

Anyway, I look forward to meeting everybody! Getting stuck on a new world is better with friends, right?

What sort of alien invasion, if you don't mind my asking?

It was, uh... this warlord and his cronies from the Ragu Empire who just kinda decided that Earth was going to be theirs.

We showed 'em otherwise.

That sounds familiar. Could I ask what they looked like? Or any notable features you recall.

Wait, really? You know about those guys?!

Uhhhhh they were humanoid, mostly dark-skinned, generally light colored hair, had these large fluffy ears on the side of their head. Almost like chinchilla ears. Other than that they ran the gamut of body types...

No, the particulars escape me. But my world was also invaded by an alien species bent on humanity's extinction. We know our Earth wasn't the first world they attempted to seize control of, so I'd wondered if yours could have been similar. It seems there are a great too many differences to be likely- a fact I'm sure both of us can be grateful for.

Oh... hm. I mean, the Ragunians weren't about humanity's extinction more than their enslavement, I think. Pretty big difference.

Yeah, it would be kinda scary if it turned out they could try to conquer planets across universes...

Yes, the Precursors were vastly uninterested in us as a species. I'm not sure which is worse, but in either case, it's much better that we managed to be rid of them.

Though, uh. The Ragu Empire managed to leave a lot of destruction in their wake. We were kinda trying to figure out how to handle it when I got imPorted.

Any trails of toxic blue blood?

Nope.

Why, was that a thing with your invaders?

Yes, it was more devastating than the attacks themselves. What sort of damage did your world sustain?

A lot of property being destroyed in the crossfire between the Ragunians and various armies that opposed the force... and a lot of civilian casualties.

Last I heard, though, two of my teammates were working on fixing that latter issue.

My world built a great many underground shelters for civilians once we finally had systems in place to forewarn against attacks. They greatly reduced our casualties.

It must have been nice to have that forewarning. All we got were gray cubes floating down onto the surface, which nobody was able to spot as an invasion force.

But, I'm sure now the Earth forces back in my world will be a little more cautious?

Yes. If only yours could have had the same.

We can only hope for as much. But in my experience, preventative 'maintenance' is often seen as an unnecessary expense before long. It'll be a fight to secure funding and more than cursory vigilance.

Right... because what good's a storm shelter if there's no storm on the forecast?

Well you said your teammates were working on the issue. I imagine they're doing everything possible.
