[ It's taken Jean a couple tries to actually get the hang of this since technology like this doesn't exactly exist in 1983 but... she thinks she's got it, seeing her face appear on the video screen suddenly.

Or at least... she did a couple seconds ago. Now it's gone and left with a black screen?

A little more fiddling and she discovers she accidentally pushed the button to the lock screen on the thing. Getting it back up, there's a redhead looking into the camera now, holding it back some since she feels like it's a little too close. ]


Hi, sorry. [ She smiles a little and gives an awkward sort of wave. Yeah, really cool, Jean. ] Gotta say this is a little weird to be talking into a camera like this.

[ There's a bite to her bottom lip and she glances off camera for a second before she looks back with a sigh, fingers running through her red hair. ]

Anyways, I don't suppose someone could recommend the best thing for sleep? It's just been a little... difficult lately.

Melatonin is a good idea. You should try something that has velarian root in it although that may take some time to actually work.

Lavender oil on a hankerchief in your pillow cover may help to relax you enough that you can drift off.

There are plenty of methods and medications you can try. But with medication, if it's over the counter and not really working, don't go over the stated dose. Perhaps see a doctor who can prescribe something if nothing that's been mentioned works for you. It may be that you need something stronger.

You find an answer that works besides relying on a couple friends to help out with their powers, let me know. It's not so much getting to sleep, for me, but the....the nightmares.

[His nightmares are less frequent, after his initial adjusting period with Ashuramaru, after reuniting with Mika. But still there. Even with some newer ones, more recently. But he tries not to let that get to him, to worry Mika about it too much where possible. So he may be taking notes to try some of these suggestions.

Whether or not it works is another story, of course.]
