Did anyone see the news story about the business owner in Maurtia Falls this week? The one about Sally Cunliffe, a 68-year-old woman who died of a heart attack? It got Sherlock excited when he first heard it. He called it a suspicious death, so we decided to do a bit digging around to see what we could find out about her.

There are a couple of things we've found that the media didn't report on. Firstly, she had no family history of cardiovascular disease. She was actually in good health and relatively fit for her age when she died. Secondly, she died with a look of terror on her face the police can't explain.

And they still haven't found the person Sally transferred the money to before she died either. Like Sherlock, I found that a bit odd. Most people grab the phone to call for an ambulance when they have chest pain, not send money over.

So now Sherlock thinks she was murdered. He's sure of it. But I was just wondering, has anyone else heard anything about this?

The cause of death is a little too similar to an imPort I've encountered in the past, honestly. If your or anyone else's investigation turns up no evidence of a culprit's presence at time of death, or any medical reasons to explain the heart attack, I'd like to know. If at least to rule out the method I'm thinking of.

It's not so much about an imPort who died as it is an imPort who killed.

[Any more than that... Well, there was no evidence of any of them having been here yet, anyway. But one can never be too careful.]

How long have you or your partner been here? And how much do either of you know about the place that came before this?

Oh, another alumni of that happy club? You've got one over on me; I was only there for a year.

But I was there in the "beginning", I guess you could say. Do you know what the year was, when you were in The City? That's assuming you remember about being there.

[There was a chance, however slight, that he would recognize names. And if so... "Sherlock", huh?]

[HOLD UP. Murder and serious business can wait--]

Wait, someone drew WHAT on the moon?

...And I MISSED THIS?

[What have you done, John]

Man, I always miss the good stuff. Though now that I think of it, someone stole their entire room out of the MAC's, early on. Vanished along with it.

[Carmen SanDiego, what a lady.]

Anyway, 2012 is way after I was Ported out, and unless one of them reappeared after I left, you wouldn't have frame of reference for them. Technically, none of the murders happened in The City, anyway. But I know what they could do, and this sounds very similar.

Further details, I'm not really willing to divulge here. You got a safer way of chatting?

[Normally, he wouldn't be especially willing to just offer this kind of information to someone he'd never met- but he was curious. "Sherlock"? Was he serious? And if it was true, then if any of them were there again, he's sure they would have spoken, at least to satisfy their own curiosity and egos. Detectives...]

Yeah, I haven't cracked it just yet. De Chima, huh? I think I could swing that.

Oh, but you'll probably have to sign my field trip pass or whatever for the Porter, being unregistered and all.

It's fine. I'm still pretty new to this place, so I could use the excuse to get out and see the sights, acquaint myself with the other cities.

Look for the priest at the Porter.

[ooc; shot you a PM to organize logging details!]
