Doctor's Log 6 | Voice

The last couple of months have been tough for a lot of us. I know it’s expected that something is going to happen by now but it still doesn’t make it exhausting.

Does anyone have any suggestions on where to go for a weekend away? Preferably outside of Heropa.

[Beaches are great and Heropa is okay, but after that week, she could really do with getting out and away for a couple days.]

My - partner and I stayed in this cabin for a while back in January, it was really nice.

It was! It was all snowy when we were there, so it was extra quiet. We might as well have been on another planet. It was just what we needed.

Looking at the pictures and even hearing that little bit about it, it sounds like somewhere I would definitely go. How long were you there for?

About a week. Oh, and there was plenty of hot water.

Well, there's a beautiful, mountainous park some miles beyond Maurtia Falls. I've not yet explored it all myself, but what I did encounter was very refreshing. It might still be quite cool, though, if warmth is more your taste...

Oh no, I'm well within my element when things are cooler and being out in nature away from a city is perfect.

Gods, if only this week hadn’t gone so wrong... I’d know the perfect little place to investigate. [a little sigh. there’s nothing to be done about it.]

What I can do is find out what route Archie and I took to get out there and relay that back to you. But beyond that, I’m afraid the rest will be a mystery and adventure.

This week has been the icing on the cake that is 'Go take a break before you break yourself'. [Aka her life in general.]

That would be great if it isn't a bother. Adventure? Mystery? Outdoors? These are ticking all of my boxes. When I was really young I remember being on a walk with my parents before the Crisis got bad. I just remember little bits like the view from the top of a hill or a break in the trees.

I'd like to see something like that again.

and because she can,] Then...I'll do exactly that. I can't attest to how familiar it may look to you, but...I think, objectively, it's quite beautiful. It may even be moreso, the closer the season is to changing to something greener.
