If you're the cause of someone's death, can you ever be forgiven?

[Asking for a friend. Right. Also "causing someone's death" obviously means murder.]

I'm not sure it's possible. Maybe that's the way it should be. There has be some justice in the universe.

My father encouraged my use of the rifle. He trained me to fight the enemy.

He shouldn't have done that. Parents are supposed to love and protect their kids.

He wanted me to be strong and not vulnerable.

Children are vulnerable. That's why they shouldn't be in wars.

The enemy did not care. They would murder or enslave us, regardless of age.

Jedi could have helped you.

The mistake was letting politics interfere and listening to those who shouldn't have been leading in the first place.

My people were perhaps too proud to ask for aid from far away lands.

I grew up with the war, eventually besting the Huk and then they were the ones to flee to the Jedi and the Republic, begging for help in their invasion. I do not know if the result would have been any different were we the first to go to the Jedi. As it was, they sided with the aggressors; our enemy. They did not even listen to our side.

Another mistake.

The Jedi are supposed to be above petty emotions, but they're not. They are supposed to be unmoved by bias, but they're not. When you try to be perfect, some will be closer to succeeding while others will fail spectacularly.

The idea of the Jedi is wrong. Everyone should try to do good in their own way.

Indeed. Thousands of Kaleesh died needlessly due to the Jedi's mistake. No doubt Count Dooku used my motivation against them to his own advantage.

You can expect that from a Sith. They will use every weakness against you to further their own goals.

Both the Jedi and the Sith have done much harm.

One did it by doing what they thought was right; the other did it for their own selfish intentions.

The end result is the same.

The galaxy would be better off without either of them.

I agree.

Which leaves the question: where should those with Force abilities go?

A good question. They would likely still need some sort of training but away from the ways of the Jedi or the Sith.

Perhaps they could find ways for the Force to aid their planets and their families.

I like that idea.

I wish I could have defended my mother in that way.

It is rare for a Kaleesh to know the Force. If I had been gifted with it, that is what I would have done. I did defend my family and people as much as I was able to, but it could have given me even more ways to keep them safe.

[He is starting to think Grievous deserves a taste of the Force. At least. Maybe he wouldn't have allied with Siths that way.]

There must be some reasoning behind all of it. I don't know why I was born or how.

He never existed.

The Jedi thought my father was the Force.

I never knew my own mother... But I am certain she existed.

Are you saying the Force can father children?

I knew her; I lived with her until I was nine.

I'm evidence of that. My mother told me and Master Qui-Gon that she hadn't been with any man before she was pregnant with me.
