As said, I don't like it. It's especially suspicious that an imPort-targeted virus would be released within our very first month here, on the yacht of their president, no less. They've dealt in that sort of virus before.

But it's not only possible, but likely, that it could have been developed on this world independently, in the quarter of a century that imPorts were here before. It could be a red herring more easily than an indication that they had arrived here before we did.

But they've done that before, as well. Their influence was hardly as subtle.
