Life is a poor narrative. Tremendous buildup for a terribly anticlimactic ending. You can never judge these things by the stories they make.

One thing I would keep in mind from it is that the Vulcanus inclusion was introduced not necessarily by those supposedly writing the script, but the players featured. You know about them because we talked about them, and the idea that they are still here came from us. Or maybe just me.

I think it's plausible. They could be here. But they could just as easily be a phantom hanging on my shoulders. It's paranoia, pure and simple.
