Who here works with law enforcement or is a qualified cop or a detective? Or maybe you were and they gave you some ridiculous job instead.

I need to know what job opportunities there are in this area. I want to get officially back to my work as a detective.

Currently, I'm located in Jeopardy but I'm originally from Pennsylvania so Maurtia Falls would also be of interest. I want to know what positions are available, in any of the Porter cities.

About a year and a half.

They're not exactly fond of us around here.

They're corrupt. It's a shitshow here. My partner takes issue with it. He likes his rules, and I like him. So. We haven't exactly made friends.

Have you tried starting your own business? A detective agency? Or are your skills in other areas?

I followed him. He stays, then I stay. That's the long and short of it.

Well, maybe not officially yet. But that was my occupation back home.

Surely they should cater more appropriately for our particular skills. They say they want heroes but then put them in odd jobs. Doesn't make a lot of sense.

What else is going on here?

Should they? It's not like we can just go back home if we hate our jobs. They don't have to give us shit. We're stuck here either way.

But why wouldn't they want to put our best skills to good use? And on top of that they give us special powers?

I hardly need those extra investigative powers for making locks.

Maybe they gave you special powers. I came with mine.

Who knows what the Porter fucking wants. It brings in as many assholes as hero-types. Maybe it's just dicking around.

I'm just a regular human being. But there are all sorts of people here - and not people but talking animals and creatures you'd usually only see in nightmares.

If it hadn't gone on for so long with mundane everyday life in between, I would be thinking this was an actual nightmare.

But sometimes you have to accept the truth, no matter how impossible it may seem to be.
