No, I'm not naive. At least in my opinion.

I try to do good sometimes, but I'm not under the delusion that I'm doing it for anything more than my own reasons, and it's only about the people I care about.

Do you not think acknowledging that holds some degree of goodness in itself?

It must be fortunately for those you care about, if nothing else.

Yeah, it works out in their favor. But it's selfish on my part.

Goodness exists. Like we said, however... It seems to expire quickly. I suppose I'm only wondering what can be preserved despite that.
