Video: 003
[ Marco's video opens on him sitting in a computer chair, which isn't unusual. What is unusual is that he's not wearing anything ridiculous (no Spiderman T-shirt here) and that he actually has a serious look on his face. ]
So since apparently we're doing this the absurdly complicated way:
If you're under 18 and want to work on this whole 'not letting the multiverse destabilize while we're living here' thing, let's coordinate.
Oh, and for all the adults who want to complain about this: I'd much rather work under the leadership of more experienced people. I think leaving us to do our own thing is stupid. But, I also know that there's a zero percent chance we're all going to stay out of it and coordinating minimizes the risk of something going wrong. Consider it harm reduction.
Or, you know, living in the real world.

Private:
And since a lot of teenagers are idiots, if they do go off and do something dumb, they're more likely to tell other teens about it. So also hopefully lessening the odds of anything too bad happening.
Private;
Having this be a proving point would be exactly what would worry me about this situation, so... It's awesome that you're already aware that it's a lurking issue. I appreciate it.
And, yes, taking stock of what we're working with is the best way forward. We're in a moment where we aren't totally sure what this is going to come down to, so... Yeah. Prep work.
Re: Private;
[ He laughs a bit. ]
I had to do that for my friends. We were sort of drafted when we 13 and they were all onboard this secret, cool, alien war things with superpowers. I was the only who'd actually lost anyone and I spent most of my time trying to keep the electricity on and my dad alive. So I was the only one in the 'real world', I guess. That's why I'm asking for experience when I talk to people too.
Exactly. And oh my God is it nice having time for it. It's beautiful.
Private;
[ The bar is low. ]
Sorry to hear you've already been dragged through it. I went to superpowers school, so... I guess I've seen the same, where people get excited about stakes they have no real way of understanding.
It didn't end well for anybody. I'd like to keep anything close to that from happening.
Re: Private;
That's what I'm hoping for too. My offer of help was genuinely because I have some skills due to my powers that make me useful in certain situations, but after the reception I got I figured I could try to head off it getting worse.
Private;
I'm Laurie, by the way. Wallflower. I'm a friend of David's who died and went to here.
