[ The viewpoint spins very slowly and smoothly, not showing a face but a tree, the bark, a branch, a nest. Occasionally tiny fuzzy grey heads stick out over the nest, and their squawking can be heard. The nestlings are grey and white, with pin feathers and a couple have a crest. Someone is studying a nest of blue jays. ]

I’m pretty sure there is a parent around, but only pretty sure. I don’t really know what they are either. Some kind of bird but? Are they going to be alright? They keep yelling.

Which isn’t what I was thinking about saying, but they caught my attention. Anyway, I’ve been filled in, including being told I was here before, even if I don’t remember.

I think they just might be afraid because you know. Humans so close to them and stuff. They’re not used to it because they’re wild.

They gotta go faster than cars then, right?

If it was just me being close, they'd be ok. I'm pretty god with calming animals down, even wild ones.

[ He'd actually tried to calm them down with the Force, and they had calmed down for a second and peeped at him. But then went back to yelling. ]

They go a lot faster than any of the cars I've seen here.

You are? Huh. They’re probably just hungry. If you can grab some seeds of some kind it might help the parents out and get them to trust you more.

[A beat, because Ella is a car girl.]

Someone else suggested worms. I think those might be easier for the babies?

Depending on the type of speeder, from bikes to cabs and trucks, they top out between 128 to 250 kilometers per hour. Swoop bikes are easily three times faster or more.

Daaaamn. I wish I could get my hands on one of those.

Also if it makes you feel better we can look it up online for stuff!

If I got the parts I could build one. Swoop bikes are commonly called engines with seats for a reason.

What kind of parts would you need here? Like would they even be able to be sourced I wonder.

The parts for the repulser engine would be the large part.
