Things have been a bit confusing of late, but to be fair it's not more than that time I got reincarnated as a slime. [ so witty] I hope everyone is alright.

I was ported out last month and came back with different powers. I already know that's something that happens, but it's still pretty surprising. Not bad though! [ Rimuru lifts one hand and a small black flame appears an its palm ] I've got my Hell Flare back.

I'm up for some sparring and trying this out, if anyone with Fire Resistance is interested. [ the flame disappears and Rimuru grins wide ] If I want to be a Hero, I need to know how to use my powers properly, right? Though I'm pretty sure I know how to use them...

I do not have a resistance to fire, but I am able to manipulate flame through my magic. Though, that does not look like any normal flame that I am familiar with...

I would be very curious to test whether or not I can affect it, if you do not mind?

Ohh, that sounds interesting! [ very! He is interested in trying that out, in fact ] We should try it, for sure.

We can try to see if you can suppress my fire or make it more powerful. [ it'd be good to have someone with that sort of ability, actually. ]

Usually I can direct it as well as magnify or stifle it. [Sypha smiles; his enthusiasm is infectious.]

And I was thinking, maybe the desert by Jeopardy would be best. This way we wouldn't accidentally start a fire or hurt someone. [ that's always important when trying out skills]

That sounds like a very good idea! When is a good time for you? I work at the library until about four in the afternoon. I could meet you at the Porter building afterwards?
