I realize now something I should have before: I need more than to attend a mere class to learn about these... computers.

[That pause for dramatic emphasis was definitely necessary.]

I have tried attending those courses at the library, but for some reason everyone else there is ancient. I feel odd among the elderly like that. So! I wonder if anyone would be willing to become my Master in this art. I would like to know everything about the Google and other such services. I think they would help me grow better accustomed to this future! I am willing to train for as many hours as it takes, to work as hard as you would teach me!

[Someone is all kind of pumped up and a definitely shounen hero (side-hero??), if a little old for the role. Twenty years of age and he's proud of himself for being able to send texts and receive emails. Someone help this poor child.]

I suppose if you can retain it all, yes, you could learn the basics all at once. But I can tell you right now, given your... time period, you won't be mastering this. It's simply not going to happen. Your attitude is admirable though. I might... be willing to educate.

And until you know what you're doing, if anything asks you to download anything, say no. Especially if it's got naked chicks on it.

That's not what I meant... it's that you sort of just use and then reuse functions after figuring them out. Where's the training and mastery to that?

I'm sure there are also computer classes for younger people. [ like. little kids ] This generation grows knowing about this technology so it's all very intuitive for youngsters, but not so much for older generations.

If it's like that, I've grown out of classes for kids and I'm too young for the ones I've gone to. A private tutor would be much better.

Sometimes it's not the person, it's whatever they're using. Apps can cut out a lot of someone's hard work after all. This doesn't work like a competitive sport, you know. If you can't figure out the standard or what people know and do normally, the likelihood of learning something like hacking probably isn't possible. Is that something you're expecting to do?
