[It's kind of nice seeing people get liker this for others. It's something he can only vicariously feel after all. He has no desire to gain the same ties, either through disinterest or naivety. Though he certainly wouldn't think it has anything to do with not knowing about it enough.]

It's not something a grandfather can always enjoy, especially considering what age can do to you. Was it odd for them to see you so much younger?
