I was cleared of the charges, but I helped solve the case anyway, since the killer was basing their crimes off my books and the police wanted to see if there was any connection between me and the killer... or if they'd announced their intentions to me in a deranged fan letter or something.

Again, I may have been a little flippant the whole time. And nosy.
