[ luckily! the hour goes pretty fast. Rachel's been busy, once people found her and others were lead by example, mostly asking for clothes and food and simple stuff. there are a few odd looks, of course there are, she was expecting it. she's not sick anymore, but she doesn't look like the picture of health, either. but it doesn't stop her from being super friendly, especially when it comes to the kids looking at her scars like she's something to be afraid of. they get extra nice vibes, yep. the only requests she's denied were weapons and puppies, because morally she can't just hand over a weapon to someone she doesn't even know, and physically she can't pull living things off the page yet. which was heartbreaking! telling a little girl no she can't have a puppy.
but whatever, that's done.
about an hour later she manages to make an easy exit, saying she has to head into work. which is not.. entirely true, but she does work at the library so hey, they can find her another time. it's fine. so she packs her notebook and supplies back into her bag, slings it over her shoulder as she heads inside. she waits near the front desk by the entrance, leaning back onto it with her ankles crossed in front of her ]
