It doesn't make sense because I'm still failing to see how they benefit from that. While those of us who aren't going to change their minds will be persecuted, it will only show more corruption in their system. There will be more and more uprisings, unless they are seeking an alternative means to get rid of us. After all, continuum doesn't flow through out veins; it has to be administered.

Not that I'm missing that they might just want to get rid of us, that's an uncanny and bizarre way to get rid of resources. The majority of imPorts register, and those who do not are not causing problems. Speaking out against the government hasn't led to any uprisings, and I, among many others, worked to bring down the Hornets. I almost died for it.

No, the only way this benefits the government is if they have thorough anti-imPort leanings, which isn't impossible. But given the war, given the recent problems with the Hornets, and the problems we regularly face among our community, it would seem odd to create further conflict to benefit themselves further. It's stupid, considering how they do benefit from us.

I am going to be investigating vigilante behavior myself, of course. Lunatic aside, there may be others who have engaged in that behavior and I just missed the memo. Try as I might, I can't have my hands in every cookie jar.
