That's the theory I'm working on right now, but even though a lot of us agree it's weird it could still be a coincidence. We're still not sure if what the porter wanted was to keep those who would help away, or if they wanted to protect them but personally I'm betting on the first.

Before Lachesis infected this world's porter she was apparently very sarcastic and thought of the imPorts as chess pieces. So she could very well be still playing her games, just doing it more quietly. We still have no idea how we get our powers on arrival, or how they get their hands on the information that's on their files that they give us.

So basically: we're almost completely in the dark. People have been here for years so it doesn't look like it's going to be solved soon, but we're not giving up.
