Obviously, you're a really absurdly brilliant and strong person. And your faith in people carries you through to do amazing things - I mean, people on the internet love you. I just - in my own experience, and I'm not trying to teach you anything or anything like that so don't take it like that at all - I always find that when I expect things out of people like good or bad, I get disappointed. You know. Like - it's tough having a standard, or expectations like that, thoughts of actual morality...I think sometimes when I'm feeling beaten-down, it helps to think instead in terms of individual acts, and what people wanted to achieve with them. Like - I think about someone's intense, earnest, whole-hearted desire to make another person happy. And remembering that kindness reminds me to be kind, and it's so easy to turn a small kindness into a big one. If that makes sense. And...doesn't sound like I'm just lecturing you about how to be a hero, which obviously you don't need any help with.
