I'd like to challenge that theory about death and this world. I believe there's a way to bypass it.

[ And Walt certainly intends to try. Chilton had illuminated to Walt that there are people who hadn't returned. And those who hadn't returned had done something atrocious, something volatile and damaging to this world. Something that threatened the government and many lives. If that's the step Walt has to take to get to his final death, then it's one he's more than happy to do.

I always believed that Purgatory was a realm that was somewhat in your control. An introduction to hell, if you would. The place you go when you've done enough bad things to not earn a direct ticket into heaven. But it seems as though it's outside of your jurisdiction. How does one wind up there? And does it anger you that there is a permanent escape for damned souls? That to die in Purgatory would mean that neither you nor god get that soul?
