So, I'm thinking we could use an organized chance to unwind and cut loose. Just a friendly game to get everyone's blood pumping and spirits up.

[He hefts the paintball gun effortlessly in both hands.]

I'm thinking about putting together a little paintball tournament now that I've had the chance to get settled in, so consider this a sign-up, if you're interested. I've got the arena reserved next weekend; if you're free and it sounds fun let me know. Don't worry about whether or not you've played before, I'll try to keep the teams balanced, and I'll set aside a couple of sessions between now and then if anybody wants to come by and learn some of the basics.

...Hmm, what else... If you've got any questions I'll be glad to answer them.

Yes, there are rules. The first rule is that everyone will be using the same equipment, that only I will have access to from now until the tournament.

The second rule is that intentional physical violence is grounds for automatic disqualification.

Yeah, they're little capsules filled with colored paint.

You fire them out of guns like this, and they pop and splatter the paint inside on impact. It stings a little, but that's what the armor is for.
