Oh, he was determined, you see. He wanted to make something that could be like Him, with the ability to dictate its own creation or destruction, but he didn't like what He saw when He made it. That was always the problem with Him. Humanity - Creation - isn't perfect, and He just couldn't stand it. The greatest works outshine and outlast their creator, after all.
