Hi hi hi everyone, I have an important question. [ he holds up a finger, tilts his head as if a thought had just occurred to him. he's so preoccupied he was going to launch himself into his spiel without even introducing himself. ] I'm being rude. I am Henry Cheng, and we were wondering —

[ the not so tall and in fact very short girl interrupts. ] We're looking for someone we know! [ she pulls a little face, looking over at Mr. Henry Cheng. ] A few people, actually. [ okay, maybe that was a little rude. she murmurs something unintelligible and takes a step back. please, proceed. ]

And that was my lovely friend Blue. [ he gestures with a flourish toward her, shoots her a wink, absolutely unbothered by the interruption or her outburst. ] As she said, we are looking for someone. Multiple someones. I'm sure this place has a list of sorts, yes? A quick way to CTRL-F a friend's name and find out their status?

[ he looks a bit more serious, then, like underneath the cheerfulness he's exhausted. his next words are very earnest. ]

We would appreciate any info. Thank you.

[ in the background, Blue begins tromping away, shedding dead leaves for some reason, and can be vaguely heard to say 'maybe we should've mentioned Gansey by name' before the video ends. ]

[ For a moment Gansey just stares at the video.

[ His smile is prepared for a public audience. His eyes are so relieved, please tell him where you are immediately so that he can find you and bring you home with him. ]

[ Really, really sorry about this. Both the sudden flutter of dead leaves in front of the screen and the response, which amounts to: ] Back? [ Half-confused, half-distressed, fully Blue Sargent flavored interrogative. ]

[Noah mentioned a friend named Blue, and it's not like that's a common name. Cosima could be wrong, but she has a hunch she knows the group of teenagers they're looking for.]

Let me guess. Two of those people are named Noah and Gansey.

[unguibusetrostro]

Maggot.

[And a pause.]

Cheng.

[oceiteres]

[ Oh, thank... whoever. Someone. Blue has apparently assumed control of the phone for a moment, because it's her face that fills the screen first. She opens her mouth and says nothing.

Shuts it. Looks over her shoulder, then glances back and tries a second time. ] Gansey, where-- what do you mean, 'took our time?' [ Her tone is a little uneasy.

Which, all things considered... ] Where are you? Are you okay? [ Henry, help. ]

[oceiteres]

[ That is not the reply Blue was expecting, if her expression is anything to go by. She looks momentarily suspicious. ] Maybe. Why do you ask? [ This is a little overwhelming. ]

[Cosima gives Blue her best reassuring smile.]

Noah might've told me about his friend named Blue who I should meet.

[oceiteres]

[ Blue's about to have a headache, isn't she? ] If you keep using your phone, people are going to start thinking they can get ahold of you with it.

[oceiteres]

Noah told you? [ She's still not up to speed on some things here. ]

[unguibusetrostro]

You're supposed to feel special, asshole.

[ yeah, thank... whoever. henry is also not sure what that comment means, but he's too relieved to see gansey to start asking a bunch of questions. ]

There you are, Gansey boy. Good to see you, man. [ he gives gansey a little salute, but doesn't come up to take more room in front of the camera. he's going to give blue's arm a little touch at the elbow and not go too far, but give them space. ]

[A familiar face pops up quite suddenly on the broadcast, bright and curious and sitting way too close to the camera. He doesn't give a rat's ass about Henry right now. In fact, he barely even recognizes him. Sorry Cheng.]

Blue! Can you hear me?

[He thought this was going to be awkward, that it was going to hurt to see her again. But right now, all he can think about is the joyful desperation that she's here. Blue Sargent is here, right in front of him.

Oh, and so's that other guy.]

Lynchasaurus Rex! Yo. [ he's really not sure what the status is on... timelines. things seem fuddled. ] Got a q for you.

[doubleblind]

Yes?

[oceiteres]

Sure, I feel really special, getting dragged out to who knows where for who knows what. [ Okay, she's irritable. ]

Sorry. This is weird though, right?

[aglonby]

Right for one! But I do not know the other. [ should...he...? he's confused. ] This Noah, is he a friend of Gansey's?

[unguibusetrostro]

Superheroing, probably.

[ Henry is a very special and valued member of this team, Noah!

And yet, Blue seems pretty interested at the sight of Noah. Her heart is full of a complicated cluster of emotions. They're all sort of at war with one another. She's also looking pretty leafy again.

That's leafy! Not... weepy. We'll not draw attention to her face, where the remnants of angry looking wounds still linger. ]

Noah-- you're here? [ That probably came out less sure than she meant. ] I mean, someone said they talked to you... but I didn't think...

[ Blue Sargent is sort of speechless? ]

Yes? You seriously don't know him? I got the impression that all of you kids were practically joined at the hip...

[oceiteres]

How did you meet him? [ She means, 'how did he already meet you?' because she doesn't understand... timeline stuff. But her tone's probably more aggressive than necessary. Please excuse her, it's been a Very Stressful week. ]

[oceiteres]

Yeah, well. I didn't sign up for this. [ She shakes her informational folder a little. If she's read it in the half a second she hasn't spent worrying about her friends, but especially Gansey. ]

[aglonby]

[ breezes right past that, sorry bud. ]

This explanation is gonna get kinda confusing before it makes sense, but stick with me, okay?

[Cosima knows all about confusing time line issues. Her own clone had been here for months before Cosima showed up, and everyone from home seems to be from different points on what Cosima fondly calls, their "home timeline". She can understand the confusion.]
