The theory of relativity states that as one approaches light speed, they will experience time more slowly. If two clocks are synchronized and one sent into orbit and the other left on earth, the one in orbit will eventually fall behind the one on the surface.

I could accept that as an easy explanation for you experiencing the world at a different pace than others, but you aren't moving that fast right now.
