Ideally, yes. I think so. But it's not just the stories and parables, and the saints and festivals.
It's the values.
Things like tolerance. And acceptance. Understanding that even if we are not brothers and sisters in faith, we are still neighbours, and one of the most important things we were charged with was to love our neighbours as we love ourselves.
I think . . . it would go a long way, if some of the children of our communities could look at an imPort and see a neighbour and a friend. Especially one who looks different, and speaks differently, and believes different things.
