[Bianca is looking just a bit stained- nothing too bad, just tired, and she's recording this in what looks to be a large classroom, a variety of people behind her listening to an instructor give direction on how to perform CPR.

Several CPR dummies are visible, and there's one on the table next to Bianca.]

Hi, everyone. I was hoping to do this after I went through all the certification processes here, but with everything happening now is as good a time as any.

I don't think there aren't very many of us here who have medical training, or at least the kind that's up to date and useful as an emergency responder. Paramedic work isn't the same kind of thing I'm used to doing in the ER, for example.

[She's been keeping busy. The training for paramedic and the job she was assigned to is keeping her busy.]

I ended up in a discussion last month with the director of emergency services at the main hospital here in Heropa because of this and it went from there.

While they can't grant certification that hasn't been earned, they can waive the fees for everything from basic first aid and CPR classes to the paramedic course.

With everything that's going on- especially right now- if anyone can spare the time, you should consider doing at least the basic courses.

It can make a big difference at the end of the day.

[Along with the video, there's also a bunch of links to various organizations and schools that provide all of those classes in the imPort cities,  as well as what each state has for their basic  requirements. She did the research!]

[ Caitlin's sitting in her living room, looking a lot better than she has compared to a month ago. She's finally without the shoulder immobilizer, though she still moves a bit gingerly. ]

It may not mean much, but I'm definitely seconding what you're saying here. Even just basic first aid can make the difference between a fighting chance and no chance.

I couldn't agree more that people should try the course out, even for the basics. Having powers doesn't mean you're always going to save the day, but you can do a lot with basic skills.

I hope this post has even a few people taking an interest.

You still think I should try this if I can heal myself anyway?

[He has Ashuramaru. Along with the seraph gene. Which has literally brought him back from the dead once before back home. And Mika hash his regenerative ability as a vampire. But...well, that won't necessarily help if it is anyone else that gets hurt. He might know some very bare basics, being in the military, but even that probably isn't a whole lot since he wasn't specifically part of any medical team or the like. More, on how to deal with vampires or Horsemen, as part of the vampire extermination unit.]

Question, if I do this, cause I gotta know. Do we get partners?

Can we pick our partners?

Do we get to learn how to do mouth to mouth?

Might be worth a look. Porter gave me a type of healing power so may as well brush up.

If they can waive most of the fees, we could probably arrange classes at the Xavier school for basic first response techniques. Do you have the contact information of the emergency services director on hand?

[ and it's not like there is a headmaster anymore who can arrange something like this for the school. so he may as well do it himself, right?? ]

Thank you very much for the information! I probably have been relying a bit too much on my powers... [And she really hadn't actually wanted to go into medicine back home, though everyone had encouraged it. But now that she was here, she was seeing more and more how important additional education was.]

[That's... actually not a bad idea. At the very least, Clint looks interested, because this is indeed something helpful, and considering the situations that go on...]

If we've already been certified in the past, is there any way they'd let us just take the test to get it reinstated here? We had to do the basic stuff for work, but I let it lapse recently.

I actually used to hold a class at the Nonah imPort Center, but I haven't had as much time since the beginning of the year. It's good that someone's talking about the existing alternatives.

That's Health First Cape Canaveral, isn't it?

Uhmm can we get our CPR licenses recertified? I don't... exactly have any of my papers to show I've been certified before.

Would I need to start over? Is that easier?

Well, it's about time someone set this up.

[ mccoy is pleased with this development, but he also sees how tired she comes across on the video. ]

You feeling all right Nurse Reyes? You look tired.
