[The picture Newt sends is from New Years and is clearly a selfie, judging from the angle. A guy with hipster-frame glasses and dressed in a leather jacket kisses a taller person whose head is nearly fully engulfed in the fur-lined hood of a parka.

Newt follows up by sending a picture of just Hermann ([personal profile] mathemagier, a face very similar to that of Miles and Mark) a grumpy Nerd with a terrible haircut and (indeed) brown eyes...eyes that are narrowed in an annoyed but amused look at the camera.]

Sorry, girls, he's taken.
