There's a nice little bakery in Heropa that I like. [ He's just going to text the address over. ] They're lovely people. Very friendly. They specialise in chocolate cake varieties, too, so it sounds like you'd have luck there.

[ The shop itself is a bit less cluttered than it used to be—a weekend with Josuke helping to clean the shop up has done WONDERS. Still, it gives the impression that there's too much stuff for this small shop. Clocks of all sort hang on the walls and there's a glass cabinet of watches of all sorts that also serves as a countertop. The Doctor's leaning against the countertop, jeweler's eyepiece held up to his eye as he works on a REALLY TINY WATCH.

Still, when Doreen enters, the Doctor gives her a grin, setting down his tools as he walks around the counter to the main area of the store. ]

Is that why you were asking about bakeries? You just wanted someone to share cookies with?

I worked with United Cakes of America in Heropa for a charity event a few months ago, and I can't recommend them enough.

Saying something like 'oh, well, it's actually my birthday today but I only know two people here, and neither of them are close enough to party with, so I was gonna buy myself some cake and hang out with some squirrels' seems like it would bring the conversation down.
