I don't care for the lack of visibility with a lot of charities - you have people donating to "breast cancer" and hoping that the money is funding medical research rather than the cost of pink dye - they weary people of the idea.

Something like this, you have visible, tangible schemes and results. People who want to be comfortable supporting your work and are going to do a bit of research for it don't have to get a fucking socioeconomics degree or whatever to do so.
