[ during the random snowstorm affecting Maurtia Falls and the rest of PA on april 21st ]

The author Hal Borland may have quoted "No winter lasts forever; no spring skips its turn," but this seems excessive... although I may simply be preferential to the heat, having grown up in a desert.

Tangentially related, but it did get me thinking: are there any imPorts here who have weather-related abilities? Particularly those which were Porter-given, although both sets of data would be helpful.

In regards to the storm, please abide the DoT's instructions to defer non-essential travel until after the roads have been cleared.

Nevada? Isn't that the name of one of the states found in this country?

[At least, she does believe so when she remembers the 50 Nifty States song.]

That makes sense. You don't have any experience in dealing with it. So, is this your first snow fall? Are you thinking of enjoying it once the winds calm down?

[She'll nod her head to his question.]

Both, actually. I remember my powers were able to cover an entire town without having to picture or see it as I do here. And there weren't as many limitations neither. To summon a particular weather pattern, I need help to use even after growing very familiar with an area.

Significant how? Are you talking about differences in history?

Long Island? That sounds like an interesting place. But glad to hear it isn't your first because it'd be a shame if you ended up disliking it due to inexperience in dealing with it. Winter is actually one of my favorite seasons next to spring.

Oh. [Give her a moment to think about it since she really isn't the best at explaining the technical aspects of her powers.] ...I used my surroundings to allow it to expand as far as I could by using those listening to my song. My voice can be louder than most. It usually can be heard the higher I am or the more echo-centric the location I am in. Most of the time though I allow the wind to decide where it can carry my voice to, where it needs to go...
