[Since names of origin points are useless without a pandimensional standard (i.e. "which universe are you from" "it has a name?" —but, even non-spacefaring planets within the same galaxy won't recognize local vs. galactic names for themselves or each other), he's taken to just testing for comparison points/recognition.
