I can only imagine. I can't say it's like anything I've ever experienced. And I certainly hope this world doesn't follow down a similar path.

Perhaps it's silly, but I have always been fond of flowers. So when someone who is dear to me ports out, I make sure to plant a flower that reminds me of them in their honor. It's sort of a living memory to that end because it will always bloom and remind me that they might be gone, but not forgotten.

Still, flowers won't talk. When I'm gone, they'll only be flowers. No one will really know the true meaning anymore. And that can be a bit heartbreaking.
