One interesting thing leads to another and then it's the middle of the night and I'm reading up on things not remotely related to what my original line of inquiry was about. [He doesn't know the word for it, but he facepalms anyway.] I am going to sound old, but I don't care: back in my day doctor's visits were expensive and it was hard to even find doctors in the part of Siberia that I grew up in, so it genuinely irks me that here, now, where doctors are common and more affordable than they possibly ever will be back home, people are passing them up. I cannot fathom what logic allows someone to skip over a professional with up-to-date training and instead makes them think someone as woefully out of date as myself is the better option.
