I can't say I disagree, talking to someone in person makes it easier to communicate one's feelings and allows for more understanding between the two parties, although the convenience of the telephone does make it easier to get in touch with someone if one's in a hurry. Being in a place where everything is still familiar must make it a little easier to adjust to the situation, though I'm sure there are some discrepancies no matter where it is they take you from. Joining the military simply because one wishes to become a hero is an idealistic point of view. While it's true that protecting civilians is a main part of a soldier's job, there may be some cases where such a thing may not be possible. In instances such as that, I'm sure it would be difficult for some to call a member of the military a hero.

(Wow, so many thoughts right now where do I go next? Oh, right. Flowers:)

Not at all. I simply thought it would be best to buy some for my room, though I suppose I could buy a little extra just in case. In addition to brightening up a space, flowers have a way of communicating one's feelings to another person. There are so many beautiful women here, having a variety at hand would certainly be helpful.
