I'd say so. [Hating someone for what they were, what they couldn't control, was older than the name Lucifer-- she's just a convenient example, a vessel, of default mistrust of 'the other'. She hates it, but she's accepted that's what she embodies.]

But I'm the Devil. Of course I think it's unreasonable. The sane man rejects the ultimate symbol of evil and corruption, right? Maybe you should trust your first instinct.
