Zombies, as they have been described to me, seem to fit your description of "dead people walking around trying to eat everyone who's still alive".

Well, I suppose I will warn you, in that case, that there are a few ImPorts which seem to very basically fit the description of such things - zombies, walkers, what have you - though in my experience, they aren't particularly more unpleasant than anyone else.

Clearly, they maintain a level of humanity despite their circumstances. From what I can tell, such is not always true given the lore surrounding such things, but as I've said, the majority of those that I have come into contact with seem relatively harmless.

As I've said, from what I've gathered given the lore surrounding such things, they do not appear to be entirely similar to the more popular concept of "zombies".

It seems as though the "walkers" which you are describing would not fit the necessary requirements to be ImPort, though I do not mean to imply that I am aware of what those requirements are.

It is quite possible that most anything might be brought through the Porter.

Suffice to say, I myself have had no encounters with such beings since arriving. That does not mean, however, that they might not make an appearance at some point.

If you have an interest in blades, I do know of a source from which you can obtain them legally within this world. They aren't necessarily of the highest quality possible, but they do serve their purpose.
