[His voice sounds as tired as he looks but he carefully keeps his tone neutral.]

I suppose I should introduce myself. My name is Obi-Wan Kenobi, or Ben if that’s easier.

[He has already gotten some strange looks for his exotic sounding name from the locals here in Maurtia Falls.]

Could someone explain to me what “Performance Hypnosis” is exactly?

[Its his assigned job you see and while he knows what hypnosis is, the performance part he’s not really clear on.]

I’ve never fully yielded to the Dark Side, but there were a few times I felt it’s pull. Particularly when it came to my former master’s death and his killer.

Hatred and anger dominated my thoughts, tempting me to do unspeakable things I normally wouldn’t. It makes sense in the moment, and is even seductive, but it takes true strength of will to resist.

[ Leia was quiet for a moment after Obi-Wan was finished speaking. She chewed the inside of her cheek. Padme had been there when it had happened, when she'd felt that pull. ]

[He was glad she was being open with him about this. Any way that he can help Anakin's children is something he could do to try make up for his own failure with their father.]

[ She was being open with him as she truly felt that he could help. In whatever lessons or guidance he could give her, Leia would take all that she could. The last thing she wanted was for her friends or family to end up hurt by her hand or her inability to properly harness what power the Force granted her. ]
