[A human face appears on the network which a few may know is Grievous - and others may figure it out simply by checking the network ID. There is obvious tension and annoyance as he speaks.]

How do you live with the constant discomfort of being human?

Hey, just saw this. Sorry I didn't reply sooner, our ship got attacked.

And I might not be the best person to answer, since I'm just wearing a skin suit, but...first of all, what do you mean 'constant discomfort'?

When you figure it out, let me know.

[The face isn't human. He's had the opposite effect which he's thrilled about because he hates being human. Too squishy and too many requirements.]
itcanwait: (no wait)

That would be horrible! I'm glad it didn't happen to me.

Ah! But I'm sorry it was to you.

[Jonathan's clearly floating in space, even though only his head is in the shot.]

Yeah, they were doing a reality show in space. I figured I'd sign on because it might be fun, and I figured if anything went wrong it might be helpful to have people around who actually lived in space.

But yeah, humans are pretty weak, I've noticed that. Their needs seemed pretty easy to meet when we had a few on our ship, though. Food. Water. A restroom. They seemed to get freaked out pretty easily, though, even when they were provided enrichment.

Nope. Usually I have to turn into my human form I was given to like recharge and I go to work in it. But I feel fine and can't...actually turn back?

I saw people talking about things going all weird.

Yeah, that.

And no, I don't. I did study them for a while, though, but that was mostly to try and understand their behavioral patterns. I have noticed, though, since the first I seem weaker than usual. Like...well, human level strength, even though I'm still me under my suit.
itcanwait: (Y'see)

I have. Which I'm happy about, but it does also mean I have to stay outside and watch TV through the window.
itcanwait: (bored)

[personal profile] itcanwait 2017-12-03 09:12 pm (UTC)(link)
Extremely inconvenient. It doesn't look as good through the window. And I'm tired of being rained on.

They don't. I know there's a few large species here and you'd think they'd start providing. Make bigger buildings or something like that.

Yeah, well...let's hope this doesn't last too long.

You think so? How would I go about it though, it doesn't seem like the government really listens to us here.

Hm, you're right though...

...I hadn't considered that it might be. But then, at first I just figured I was getting weaker from eating all this shitty human space food. Then I saw the network posts and realized that wasn't the case.

itcanwait: (really?)

Maybe get some of the public on our side first and then talk to them and ask-demand they fix it!
drivesadesk: (really? Wait)

[personal profile] drivesadesk 2017-12-03 09:44 pm (UTC)(link)
Wait, the Porter's broken? When did that happen?

[Apparently he was missing a lot by being busy in space.]
