Well, I would assume the most productive thing would be to collect evidence of their plan to blow us up — schematics and the like, I mean, since they certainly didn't build it in a day — and using that as leverage against them. Force them to come to the table, or face the consequences of their choices.
Simply trying to talk to them, with no trumps and aces of our own, seems like a waste of what ground we have.
