Hello!! Sorry I haven't posted for awhile, Hajime and I have been suuuuper busy working on our first single! Lots of stuff has been happenin' and it doesn't leave lots of time for doin' this kind of stuff, but I really gotta make more time for it, huh? I'll make sure everyone knows when our single is released though, 'cause it's gonna be really good.

And this isn't related to singin' but I want to know anyway... what's your favorite thing about Earth?

What kind of music is your single?

All of earth? That's hard to say. I mean, my favourite thing about being here is the freedom but not everyone on earth has that. Nature is good. And art in different forms - drawing, music, architecture, literature, cooking, all of that.

[ raven appears whimsical. ] I loved the freedom. Being able to reach out my hands and be able to touch anything that wasn't a metal wall was pretty cool. [ though, whether it remains true or not is the question. tilting her head up, ] What about you?

[She taps her chin thoughtfully.]

Pop. Rock? I guess it's kinda a mix of them! It's gonna sound really good.

[But then she just beams, because talking about Earth is still just exciting to her.]

I see, I see... but that's so much! I know it's kinda a lot to just put all of a planet into a few things, though.

Mm... that's really hard, 'cause I had never been to Earth till a couple months ago. But I think I like the people most, 'cause some of the nicest people I've ever met have been here.

[She looks curious, though..]

What d'you mean by metal walls?

[specialise]

[ raven wishes she could see the best in people, much like her new friend here. she smiles softly, not feeling any bitterness toward someone else's finding something good in the people raven's not too certain about just yet. ]

I grew up on a space station made of metal. The walls are just cold pieces of metal screwed together hard enough to survive gravity and space. I always imagined what the sun felt like ... [ her lips curve upward. ] The imagination does it no favours.

[She perks up visibly when she hears 'space station', though it sounds so much different from the island ships that she was used to. She honestly can't help but beam at what Raven says about the sun, because she can't help but agree.]

Stars always feel nice. Windermere's star felt nice, and so did Ragna's, and so does Earth's... but it never felt the same in our ships. Even if they tried to simulate it, there still wasn't any real light and there still wasn't a real sky. All the simulated stuff has nothin' on the real stuff.

[She nods.]

Yeah, 'cause there's so much here I didn't have before. What are your favourite things?

The people, but there are so many kinds of apples here that I still haven't tried 'em all! But the sun is so warm and the sky just seems so high, and there's so much diversity here that it's just somethin' new and cool to see, y'know? My home planet was mostly snowy mountains, so seein' a bunch of different things all on the same planet is really cool.

There are a lot of different apples! I didn't know about most of of the different types until I lived with Hannibal. [She nods.] I know. I've been making a list of everything I'd like to see and do. I'm from Earth, or a version of Earth, but I couldn't go out and do things there. Not like here. It's amazing.

Not bein' able to experience Earth must've been awful... but at least you can get around here! I didn't know where to even start when I got here 'cause there's just so much.

[ freyja's said the magical word: stars. raven immediately perks up, feeling herself back in space, spacewalking amongst the lack of gravity, the stars and the black galaxy that used to exist within reach. ]

You've spacewalked before?

[ amongst so many different kinds of stars ... if raven feels a tinge of jealousy, well, she's fucking jealous. ]

There is a lot, isn't there? Sometimes it's nice to just find a beautiful view to take in.

Uh-huh! Though I don't do it a lot 'cause I'm usually on a planet, or I'm in my boyfriend's plane. There's nothin' like getting to see space from space, though.

But then it gets hard because there are soooo many good views and then you go and look at books and on TV and there are even more. I wish I could see it all at the same time, but that's not possible 'cause Earth is so big.

I gotta make a to-do list or somethin'.

I've got a list like that. Kind of a bucket list. The first thing on it is to go to Palermo.

[specialise]

You think, when they decide to boot the two of us, you could take me back to your planet? [ raven may say it as a joke, but there is just an ever so thin undercurrent of truth there ... take her to where there's no gravity, where the stars are much more gentler than earth. ]

[And yet, Freyja doesn't even stop to think about her answer before replying, because there's only one answer it could ever be.]

'Course. You're more than welcome to come! I hope you don't mind Ragna as a base, it's a lot like Florida when you're at the beach. I mean, we travel alllll over the cluster, but Ragna is always home.

What's Palermo?

It’s like a beach, huh? [ that doesn’t sound horrible at all, unless it’s the type of beach where grounders seem to be lying in wait. but this place sounds like it’s free from all of that politics. despite the very low chance of her ever going without her people, raven opts to believe it’s a possibility for now. sometimes it’s nice to dream, right? ]

It's a city in Sicily, Italy.

Why's it the first thing for you?

My guardian told me about it. It sounded beautiful.

Windermere. [It's said instantly, without much thought.] I left 'cause I couldn't stay there if I wanted to do what I wanted to do, but it's where I was born. I got lots of good memories of just livin' there.

It's hard to say for Earth, though, just 'cause I haven't been that many places yet. I'm gonna have to go on a really long vacation just to see everythin'.

[ despite having poured over a map when she first arrived in this hellhole of a beautiful place, raven doesn't firstly think to raise her hand excitedly and proclaim "me too!" instead, she's tilting her head to the side, wondering if she's taking the name freyja's given her a little too literally. ]

Was it named that because it was always windy?

[She kind of just... taps her chin thoughtfully, thinking. It never really came up in her history books and she was never really one to even stop and consider that kind of detail.]

I guess it was pretty windy! But I never thought of it bein' named 'cause of how windy it was. The wind there always did feel kinda special, though. It was special to us, though I dunno why. It just was.

[ although she’s not technically an expert in geography, raven accepts it. perhaps it’s named after the wind for how it makes people feel — free, and comfortable to be at home. ]

[ kindly requested, although there’s a childish eagerness to it. ]

Voldor. It's full of all these people that are kinda catlike, and whenever we went there we had to be undercover. My boyfriend is allergic to cats, though, so he spent the entire time sneezin' whenever someone from Voldor got close to him! So I guess they're really catlike if it makes him sneeze.

It was like a jungle, and it was soooo hot and humid that I didn't know what to do with myself at first! But it was okay, 'cause the people were what made it great. They were always kind no matter what, and kept tryin' to help people out if it even looked like they might need help.
