002 ☼ Video
[Sup network, there's a small messy-haired boy on your feeds this afternoon, looking a bit bummed. He's sitting at a desk with an open notebook next to him, a few things in it crossed out. If you squint, you might be able to make out a couple locations.]
Umm...I was wondering, is there a way to know for sure that someone's been "sent home"? One of my roommates...he hasn't been home in a few weeks. I thought maybe he just moved out without telling us, but none of the locals have seen him recently, either. I've tried checking the other cities, too.
If he's back home, then that's fine, but what if....
[He trails off, rubbing at his neck. If Bakugo hasn't been sent home, he's probably going to get an earful for making a post like this.]
I just want to be sure he's gone and not hurt or in trouble or something.
[He offers a small bow to the screen.]
Thank you.

I just checked the Hall of Justice. No one has seen Bakugou-san there.
action;
[He can't decide whether he should be relieved or disappointed, honestly. On the one hand, if the people from the League had seen him, he'd know Bakugo was safe, even if he'd left without a word and ignored any attempts to contact him. On the other...if nobody's seen him, maybe he's really gone? After all, a kidnapper would have demands, right?]
...I wish All Might or Aizawa-sensei were here. They'd know what to do.
[When do you keep "going beyond" and when is the right time to give up? It's not something they've ever really been taught, is it.]

You've known him longer than I have... Is he prone to just wandering off ever?

[Izuku sighs. Maybe he should've foreseen a situation like this and tried to plan ahead or something.]
So he could've just gotten tired of seeing me here all the time and left.

Is your friend usually the type to go off for weeks without telling anyone? [ She can start there, at least. ]
voice
[Katsuki Bakugo is like a machine fueled by rage and bluster tbh, if he got pissed off enough, he could see the other going off the grid to do his own thing.]
At the least, I don't think he'd tell me, and I don't think he has any other friends here.
voice
[ A pause. Maybe that's too optimistic. ] But...he could just as easily be gone. I wouldn't get your hopes up.

...Don't tell Kacchan I was looking for him, if you find him.

I won't. But why?

if his comm is offline
you can also use a mental network connection if you think he wouldn't have it but i'd save that for an emergency
it's basically telepathy and i'm pretty sure people like a warning or to give their consent before a voice appears in their head
if he has been ported out then he would've only gone back home
sorry, izuku. maybe he'll come back.

if bakugo ran off to get away from seeing him in his living space every single day, then surely, having him in his head would be even worse.]
even if i did, i'm not sure he'd answer
[Maybe if someone like Kirishima had been here, but not him. Probably not Yaoyorozu, either.]
the mental network is the only way to know?
Re: text
if his comm is offline odds are he was ported out
its very common

[Time for a different approach.]
Tell me about him. Your roommate I mean.
I'll keep an eye out for him.

Umm...
[He fidgets, looking uncomfortable.]
I mean, I don't know if he's even still in Heropa...

...Well, I'm usually around Nonah. If I run into him I can always let you know.
[Why's the kid so nervous?]
