It's kind of incredible to think about the fact that I've been here for five years — I've gone back to my home universe a few times but I always came back here after a short time, and with my memories intact. Obviously.

[ A short pause. ]

I don't really mean “incredible” in only a good or only a bad way, either; a bit of both, sure, which I could say a lot about on both ends of that spectrum. I guess ... my point now is more that I just want to record this, just to have something in the network files that says I was here for this long. With so many imPorts getting ported out over the last few months, it feels lonelier here. or maybe that's just because all my close friends and what I'd had of a family have gone.

[ She makes an expression between annoyed and sad, briefly. ]

How many of you still here have been here that long or longer? If you haven't, would you prefer to be here or home? I don't know, talk to me about stuff; I'm curious and nostalgic.

[The first thing people might notice is the fact that this is taking place in a graveyard. Tombstones everywhere...and what appears to be zombies or something of the like tied to a tree behind him. Xue Yang looks a little bored.]

This world likes to classify things. Hero or villain. I don't see myself as either but many on my world consider me to be dangerous and therefore...a villain. But then again, does a villain ever really see themselves as the bad guy? We are simply doing the things that we deem is right. And is that not what dictates how everyone lives their life? Just because of the choices I made or the actions I took towards my goals are not always deemed as socially acceptable does not immediately make me deplorable.

[He hears the corpse behind him getting unruly and turns to look at him. He tosses a small stone at it and strikes it right between the eyes which does enough to distract it for awhile. He turns back to the camera.]

Anyway, I am curious. How many of you are considered a villain by the standards put in place by this place or your own world? Or am I simply surrounded by only people who see themselves as heroes.

I want Yuki to understand that his owner loved him very much and that leaving him behind wasn't what she wanted, but she wanted to make sure he was with good owners and...

[ Laurie's always hated public speaking, but she's gotten loads better at it. The Network's made addressing a wide group of people much easier, but official addresses…? Things that have weight still feel… Well. Weighty.

Plus, the reason for this address is a dwindling personal circle, more people vanishing. Inevitable but always painful.

So here sits Laurie, costumed in her yellow-and-white superhero getup, looking subdued but friendly. (That's what she's going for, at least.) She's accompanied by Josh Foley. Josh is looking tired and stressed, but relatively resolute, also dressed in shades of gold and white. ]

Hello, everyone. I'm Laurie Collins, also known as Wallflower, and I'm here with a word about the Justice League, one of the superhero organizations set up in this world by imPorts.

We've recently had several prominent members exPort, leaving Josh and I as senior staff and leaving a considerable gap in our lineup. As such, we're seeking new members. If you'd like to be a hero, understanding the risks and all that may be involved… We'd like to work with you.

[ Josh clears his throat, casting a quick glance to Laurie. He wasn’t a full member to begin with and this promotion has him both heartbroken and uneasy. ]

Jaime was one of the first people here who really made me feel like this place could be a home. There’s a chance that all of this means something worse is coming. If my experience has taught me anything it’s that we need to band together to protect ourselves and the world and people we love. [ there is - maybe too telling a look to Laurie before he looks back at the camera. ] Uh… So, we’ll probably start doing interviews and tryouts in a few weeks.

[ Laurie nods, resuming the light smile that had slipped at mention of a vanished friend, one of the best. Bring it to a close. ]

In the meantime, please feel free to ask us any questions here or to let us know you’re interested. It never hurts to have a count before we get things rolling.

We’ll be looking to welcome all levels of experience, whether you come from a world with similar hero groups or whether this is a brand-new reality for you. Two, has anyone here ever gone through the Porter again, and come back with different powers? Not like a couple months ago with the weird trade-off, I mean, one power's just gone, others are here and don't seem to have been borrowed from anyone else.

And Three-- ( Is he really gonna, yeah, ) --You ever just, open your garage door and there's a gateway to another time? Are there any other imPorts else experiencing bizarre temporal shit? If so, could you please not touch anything on the other side until I get a look at it, that would be great.

Really could use an assist here when anyone gets a moment.

So Jonathan Walsh is gone. One of the many who ported out recently.

I mean, we knew this was likely to happen when we got together. We knew that this wasn't going to last forever, and the day would probably come when one or both of us ported out. Still, it stings, not having him here. Next month would have been our two year anniversary.

Is everyone being sent home all of a sudden? What's going on, most of the people I know suddenly all left overnight. I can't get in touch with them... Not even Martin or Archie, they're just gone!

Ever feel like you may be a bad luck charm? Or I guess maybe a good luck charm for people who want to go home? I think I might be. Whenever I get close enough to someone that I start to trust them a little they get ported out.

Maybe I should start offering my services, huh? Get close enough to me that I think you're a generally trustworthy sort and BAM, you're back home.

Maybe it's confirmation bias or whatever. Which is why I'm asking if anyone else is experiencing things like this.

Hey all!

[Enjoy David, sitting in what is CLEARLY some sort of cramped space. A trailer maybe? Probably a trailer because he's sipping from a bottle of expensive juice. Ah the trials of the television star. And for him, it is, he'd rather make his own juice.]

For those of you who aren't aware, my name is David Alleyne, I'm psychometric, and that's the set up for a show I work on called The Untold History of Antiques on the Antiquities Channel. And things have been slow for filming this winter. Because you know, travel time and vetting people that should be allowed on television. So the producers had an idea.

They want me to see if there are any ImPorts who want to be on TV, who have acquired nice antiques or items of questionable pasts we can showcase. So I'm sorta supposed to ask people if they want on the show and have anything interesting.

[He smiles at that and shakes his head.]

They don't seem to process that most of us haven't been here long or when we are, we haven't acquired a ton of stuff that is older. Or, well, if you have something that might have a mystery around it works too.

The only rule is nothing magical or sentient. That can give me a headache.

So, anyone want to be on TV? Speaking from experience, it's a good way to springboard into a television career for those of you who don't really want to go with part time work here.

Failing that, anyone a teleporter I can bribe to help me sleep in my own bed at night? I hate shoots.

I'm trying to decide something important to me and likely not to you. Since I can't decide, I'm going to leave it to npcs and randos to tell me their experiences first. That's the best way to get a good, honest, cut and dry isn't it? Asking anonymously and letting the worst of what could be said eek out of the darker corners of your hearts?

So, hero or bystander: What was the most horrible thing you did both back at home, and the most horrible thing you've done here to, or in this place. Maybe to its inhabitants?

[Today has been a pretty lucrative day, for Ochako! After waking up and having breakfast, she actually skipped her morning workout and training on the beach for entirely different. Much like a smaller, much cuter version of ye olde Kris Kringle himself, Ochako is out delivering gifts to her friends and teachers. Carrying a big bundle of goodies is no issue with her quirk, either. Tucking each wrapped gift into as large a travel bag as she could find, Ochako give it a little tap with one hand and it becomes light as a feather.

She out for nearly the entire day, if only because so many of her precious U.A. family are in other Gate cities, and even foot traffic during the final day before Christmas is an absolute nightmare, but Ochako finishes just before tea time (about 3pm) and looks tired...but happy. Time to curl up for the rest of the day with some hot tea, a few of her favorite Christmas hymns and carols, and relax a bit.

In fact, she pulls out her communicator as she gets close to her house in Heropa, shedding some of the thicker garments for those colder states she had to visit on her outing, and flicks on the camera to address the network.]

Hello, everyone!! Merry Christmas! Did you all get what you wanted? Ehehe... Anyway, what are some of your favorite caro--...eh?

[Please excuse her, there's something...at her doorstep. It's a large cloth bag that's, hrm...addressed to her? Ochako blinks, looking around curiously as her hair whips about, then goes to pick up the bag--] Ah! Heavy...okay, here we go--up!

[Another quick activation of her quirk, and she's tugging the bag easily along behind her, fumbling with her keys and her communicator.] Sorry...someone left me something. Um...th-thank you to whoever it was, if you're viewing this! That was very kind of you, though there isn't any name or anything...um. Just a minute, I'll open it now...

[Doot doot, she sets everything down then unzips the large clothe bag, turning the note over with a thoughtful hum and furrowed brows. Thanks? Who in the world--] Oh, these are cu--

[The rest of that sentence is cut short by the tearing of gift paper and a very audible gasp. There's silence a good long, long moment after before sudden movement, a box popping open, a squeak of surprise and a barely muffled sob.]

O-Oh my gosh...oh my GOSH!!! I-IT'S SO...IT'S... I CAN'T-- [Ochako flicks on the video, to show off a large box with a picture of a gorgeous telescope on the back, which is open at the top.] WH-WHO...WHO GOT ME THIS?! I-I'M SO...I'M--

[Is she crying? Yes. Ochako has wanted a telescope since she was seven - a few years after her Zero Gravity quirk manifested and she learned to really and truly love space and astronomy. Of course she never got one, because they're expensive, and she's never had that sort of money to spend, but...who in the world? Did she ever even tell anyone about this? She can't remember, Ochako is too fucking emotional right now. She may also be hyperventilating. This is like a dream come true.]

Th-This is...I'm s-so...! I-I...ah...hahaHAHAHA...haaah. [And, like that, she just. Cackles. Having lost her absolute mind before falling over backwards.

Hey all, just want to drop some information I gathered last month from AtlanTech. While they were doing their experiments on some of our nanites I was working on a way to get into their systems and see if they were hiding anything.

I didn't find anything shocking or potentially world ending, for the most part it's all internal team rivalries and corporate bullshit, but there is a little that's interesting about the Lead Hardware Engineer. Mainly, up until last year she was a personal assistant and now she's working in R&D and leading teams doing experimental research. A little weird in my opinion, but I could just be paranoid.

Anyway, here's a link to what I found. Again, not a whole lot but I believe in transparency when it comes to information that affects all of us.

Question ONE!

I'm used to Christmas being a kind of low key romantic holiday versus all these American traditions, so I'm curious, what's your favorite tradition you've seen in this super mega weird version of the United States? Or back home, yo I'm not picky! Talk to me!

[He's clearly got his camera/device/whatever set up so it's hands-free, considering the finger guns he's firing off in the camera's direction, the big cheesy grin on his face absolutely fitting the radio persona he's putting on. It's so easy to fall back on a professional persona sometimes. He leans back, then spins in his chair before leaning into the camera again.]

Now for something a little more serious! Question TWO!

Got some feelers out for an idea I wanna float along to you cool cats and dogs who might be interested. Calling out to all you ImPort Educators! What kind you ask, well I don't really feel like being too picky right now, but you've gotta be interested in working with ImPort kiddos!

Without explaining too much, "imports" or people with quirks are pretty dang common where I come from! Usually, kiddos start showing out with their quirks at a pretty young age, and it looks like ImPorts with powers of all ages show up here too. I figure it might be a good idea to get a group of adults who've got their powers under control to help teach these kids to grow into their newfound powers. You know? Keep 'em from hurting themselves or others accidentally... Help 'em figure out if the whole Hero gig is what they want to do!

Can't do that on my own though, which is where you guys come in.

I'm definitely looking for help to set up a school that's more suited for ImPort kids who need help harnessing their powers you dig? Get em certified, give em a little step up, and support their basic education too! Most of the kids I taught back home that found themselves here seem pretty frustrated with the native school system, so it seemed natural to support all these kids rather than just the ones that are already my responsibility.

So, if any of you ImPorts wanna give me a ring, you've got my attention now, or you can contact me privately. Tell me about how you'd wanna help and all that jazz.

And before any funny business starts I'm not really looking for this to turn into a debating ground, so let's avoid that whole ordeal, yo!

[ Those who recall Jin Zixuan's last embarrassing turn online, will be glad to know that he is feeling much better. Back in his original body, golden core restored and everything. Nothing to worry about. Forget you ever saw him as a gigantic metal man.

He's out shopping in downtown De Chima, in a store that sells upscale homegoods and handcrafted decorations, all of which that you see on the shelves are Christmasy in theme. There are little wooden snowmen, bottle brush Christmas trees, felted raindeer, and lots, lots of things that light up. ]

I understand that the religion practiced in Jeopardy is not in the majority of this nation, though I will say that the festivities last night were rather spectacular in nature. But, it seems to me that the holidays practiced by the rest of this land are just as... excuse my words... cult-like.

[ He picks up a ceramic Santa Clause teapot with a set of elf-themed cups and saucers. ]

Who is this fat red man who is worshipped at this winter festival? Does he wear red because it brings good luck? [ That much would make sense to him; red is an auspicious color in his culture. ] How does he get reindeer to fly, do the reindeer cultivate their own spiritual energy? What of their leader, with the reddened nose? [ Again with the color red! ]

[ He sighs, flourishing his sleeve and continuing his stroll through the store. ]

The main reasoning for my question is, are there any important duties one must perform in this season, according to the traditions of this holiday?

White and blue are the most featured, then black and grey. But there is some yellow and red sneaking in there. There's a fleck of the same blue on Anakin's jaw, and he looks a bit sweaty. ]

When we arrive here, we are assigned a city, an apartment, a job. How many of you have kept those arrangements? What made you change them? If you didn't change them, why not?

[ He rolled his shoulders back, and twisted a little, stretching his back out. ]

I know there's a fair few of us with lightsabers. I'd like to get a bit of a dueling club together, but first we need to hold some classes. So anyone who is Force Sensative and wants to join in, let me know. It can be privately. But I will be holding some basic safety classes first to make sure everyone leaves with everything they brought with them still attached.

H-hello. We are almost in December, and I guess Christmas is very important here- [ he has noticed all those Christmas decorations and songs, yeah. It's all a bit overwhelming, but he is going to get into the Christmas spirit too ] So I was wondering if anyone would be up for a Christmas dinner? I never had one, neither hosted one, but I think it'd be nice and different.

Me and Katsuki live in Maurtia Falls, and we can host the dinner here at the beginning of the month after the Welcome Ceremony for new imPorts, maybe. For friends, and friends of friends. [ kaneki smiles wider ]

If anyone would like to bring food or drinks you can, but I will be the one cooking, I've been reading a little about popular Christmas dishes.

Hey, so - calling all healers! Or, like... medically inclined ImPorts?

My job's lookin' to open up a new internship program for anybody with healing powers or supersmarts or whatever. [ he clearly does not have one of these powers. ] Their thinking is, like, working together we can really advance medical tech and knowhow here. It's a great place to work. They don't care if you get busy with heroism or whatever. They pay crazy well, too.

[ he snaps his fingers into fingerguns. ]

I've also got loads of experience with mastery over healing techniques, and like, a few PhDs worth of medical knowledge in my head, so if you need a mentor in medicine or some first aid, I'm your guy! I've also kinda never really hung out with another healer, who wasn't like, vaguely evil or like a million years old - so it'd be cool to compare notes?
