[ Minho is practically caked in mud. The worst is on his shoes and pants (sorry for ruining your hard work, Kanaya), but from what the general populace can see in this video? His shirt didn't fare a whole heck of a lot better. This is literally all he owns, he doesn't look pleased. It doesn't help there are clear tears in one part of his shirt, and while the bruises haven't started forming yet, he still looks pretty beat up and ruffled at the moment. ]

There's something seriously wrong with the kids that are brought here.

[ Sounds like someone's not happy about having gotten his ass handed to him by a twelve year old. ]

[Newt shoves the comm into his pocket and the screen goes dark. Judging by the rustling though, he's digging through his closet. He finally actually bought some things for himself. Mostly for work, but he has enough to spare Minho something.]

It was Killua, right? I could've told you not to underestimate that kid. He was helpin' pull shanks out of the Citrus Tower.

[ Heading back that way now, but keeping the video on so he can gripe at people that make fun of him for getting beat by a kid. ]

What's his deal anyway? He's all of... what? Five feet? They pull some weird klunk on him when they brought him in to make him some sort of weird super kid?

I dunno. I didn't get a chance to talk to him for long. He was goin' back and forth bringing people out of the building. Ever think he might just be a better fighter than you, Minho?

He grew claws in the middle of the fight. I don't think he was fighting fair here.

[ He's way better than Minho though. ]

Guess that all depends on your definition of fair. If that's a power of his, it's fair to use in a spar, yeah? Aren't you just sore because you lost?

[In Minho's feeble defense, they'd never really trained to fight like that.]

I couldn't say, I didn't see the fight myself. But as far as here goes? He's probably better than you. Maybe you ought you train.

A long, drawn out sigh. This is the part where he slowly starts coming down from his initial burst of anger and just seems vaguely irritated at everything. ]

Might take up running again though. Feels like I'm letting myself go now that I don't have to worry about the Maze.

We both need it. Let's face it, Minho, none of the Gladers are exactly good at fighting. Not the way shanks are here. You, me, Tommy, we can all train together.

[Newt shrugs, though Minho can't see it with the comm still hidden in his pocket.]

That's because we aren't soldiers. And we're not here to play hero for their government either. I don't need it.

[ Being stubborn on that one. Not to say he wouldn't train with Newt and Thomas eventually, but he's still a little grumpy over this one. ]

Do what you like, then. I'm not saying we should train for them, I meant for ourselves. There's nothing wrong with being prepared, Minho. Whether you want to or not, I think I'm going to look into it.
