Hey guys!! It's Maya Fey. If you know me, youuuu totally know the show I work on! If not, I work on a T.V. show!

But recently we switched, and there's gonna be a brand new series starting!

[Ken writes up an answer but then he sees Kaneda's response right before it so he deletes that one and texts a few of his native friends first before sending something completely different]

I'm going out tomorrow to meet with some teammates
I'll be out all day so you don't have to get anything for me. Thank you though.

[He does feel badly. Maya had been excited for this, and Ken, not very secretly, had been too. He'll have to tune in on his phone and watch it so he doesn't miss it entirely, he thinks to himself. And figure out a way to properly apologize, too. But even he knows that Tetsuo needs space away from him right now, and Tetsuo's recovery takes first priority.

He stares at his own response for a second before turning his phone on silent and putting it away in his bag, sighing. Maybe he can couch hop for a while. Maybe it'll be best to move.]

[Sure, Maya's disappointed. But she knows something has been bothering Ken about everything that's happened, and though she has no idea of the details, Maya can't bring herself to be upset. Ken is a trustworthy kid who does what he needs to. If this is what he's choosing, he must have a reason. So she swallows her disappointment, sighs, and puts on a smile.]

You sure you don't need anything? We're going to the store the udon place gets their stuff from, I can keep something in the fridge for ya!!

Yeah, it's fine. I don't need anything. The fridge is full anyway.

[Ken always has a lot bothering him, and he never knows how to deal with them. Avoiding Tetsuo in the house is a lot of stress so he's been out of the house a lot, setting up a schedule of leaving early in the morning and not coming back until evening almost immediately after the Pan fiasco. He checks in on the network like this, but Maya who spends a lot of time around Nonah, number 5, should know that he's hardly exchanged a single world with Kaneda each day since. Texts have gone down to a zero just in case Tetsuo catches wind of it. It's for the best, he tells himself.]

...He's not... asking her for snacks? No. This is even more wrong. She'd noticed the little things, and at first hadn't thought much of them-- but now, with all of that in her head? She's sure something's up.]
