[She's on her break at work and she's been listening to her co-workers talk about the holidays and what they would be doing. She was asked and almost felt put n the spot and it got her thinking.]

With it almost being December, I'm curious about what people do during the holiday season, is there a tradition you have back home? What are your plans for this year?

I've been removed from this tradition for past few years, but in general it doesn't seem that much different here. The same music everywhere, lights, gifts wrapping and such.

Did you had different kind of holiday?

No, it was basically what we see now. Different traditions, but that's a regional thing more than a world difference.

We had Santa, we had the music, tinsel and the work Christmas parties.

Intriguing. It seems to be a popular tradition for many ImPorts, with "regional" differences.

It does feel like there is a much bigger focus on gifting and the family aspect of this holiday here.

[ At least to him, since he's coming from his world equivalent of Japan. Only with Godzillas and alien invasions ]

It's more about parties, and spending time with your romantic partner if you happen to have one.
