Maybe I’m just the weirdo who’s never been thrown into a fucked up Jetsons world, and this is actually super normal. Maybe people get drafted into the superhero army all the time.

The state we're in is famous for three things: people getting away with murdering kids, reptiles the size of small houses, and Disney World. It's the "happiest place on Earth" [said with SUCH loathing] and is a pretty fantasy world of princesses and magic and wage slavery.

Also, churros are fried dough covered in cinnamon. They're amazing, and you shouldn't be ashamed of being the prince of them.

I can't speak for anyone else. Maybe they just like the power. It isn't half bad if no one's freaked out by it. [Like they were with the l'Cie. Lightning can at least count herself lucky for not returning to that atmosphere.]
