If you recognize the word “Coruscant,” consider this message intended for you. If you don’t, read on anyway.
[He’s not picky about where the answers come from so long as he gets them. And for all he knows, this phenomenon has affected more universes than just their own.]
I spoke with someone I knew from my home galaxy today. We lived during the same decades. We should remember the same events and people. But we don’t.
We each remember different wars. We remember different people being alive or dead. In some cases, we don’t remember the same people existing at all.
If anyone has a possible explanation, I’d like to hear it.
And if those from my own galaxy have any similar discrepancies to report, this is the place to do it.
[He doesn’t know if this will get any bites. If not, he might have to track people down for more personal history recaps...]

This is what others have said. If you remember a different history, you must share it. Soon.
We do not know when the situation might stabilize. Information may be lost in the process.

I know a lot of us come from different times, but - I've never heard of people remembering completely different events.

It is possible that more than one version of the same universe has been represented here by the Porter.

[Or has Fett had the entirely characteristic luck of being the only one?]

Might I know which version you are from?

Then again, there's dozens of people here from different versions of this Earth planet... Why can't the be different versions of our galaxy?

Not sure I’d call them different versions. The history seems to be the same up until 15 years ago.
But point taken.
