Text; Anon (as best he can)

[Going anon is totally the best way to solve Unwanted Lingering Doubts, right? Never mind he'll out himself, eventually.]

What does strength mean to you?
What about trust?

Like.
picking up heavy stuff strength?
or the emotional kinda strength?
deformer: 'Cause it just looks like a wall. (What am I looking at here?)

[personal profile] deformer 2018-07-25 07:18 pm (UTC)(link)
Okay, well that's kinda complicated, but like, I guess.
when you boil it down it's like.
being able to do stuff even though you know it's gonna be hard or painful or scary.

Trust means you can be yourself around someone without worrying about what they think of you

Strength means having the power to change the world but the will to resist the temptation

Sounds like youve got some stuff on your mind friend

this place isnt that bad

how long have you been here?

more or less

trust is important to me. I have some unique circumstances

the bit about power is something my old man told me before I had to leave home
forgeabettertomorrow: (I don't really get it but...)

it's okay!

[personal profile] forgeabettertomorrow 2018-08-04 07:58 pm (UTC)(link)
yeah its been a few months for me

really eye opening

Im not sure what it means. Hell Im not even sure how to do it. But I guess it means to have left such an impact that the world follows your direction. Making history and all that stuff

[What's with the philological question. Also text urgh, well he's better than last time he did this.]

Strength is the ability to continue no matter what odds are stacked against you and attempt to make the world a better place.

Trust is knowing that others got your back no matter what and what stupid decisions you end up doing in your life, and steer you back towards what you should be doing.

text; also shit did I really spell philosophical as philological lmao

Well, you fight it at first. You get pissed off and lash out, but if you're damn lucky, they'll stick around and keep butting their heads in until you do what's right.

Course that depends what you think you should be doing and what type of friends you have.

Strength is inner power. Or it can be literal physical strength.

Trust is dangerous.

What does it mean to you?

To me - I used to think trust was about depending on another person. Now, I think it's about being able to rely on and have confidence that they'll be there for you. But still not having to depend completely on them. You can also have trust in a concept. Or in yourself. You have to be careful not to let trust blind you to the dangers of others or yourself.

The word trust has no meaning to you at all?

I get that. The people I should have been able to trust most hurt me. One killed me.

You trust again because there a few people that are worth it and it's better than being alone.

depends on the situation you're in
h2no: (nice)

niko...

[personal profile] h2no 2018-07-27 05:14 pm (UTC)(link)
some people have a different level of strength and trust they have to uphold for others
but mostly strength just means being able to stick to your ideals and knowing when to own up to your own mistakes
trust comes from being kind and dependable
h2no: (fascinating... he scream)

[personal profile] h2no 2018-07-30 04:34 pm (UTC)(link)
it counts for yourself, too. perhaps just as much if not more than how it works with other people.
but you must always be mindful of the fact that you are not the only person in existence
what you do will affect other people
but you can't always put them first
it's a hard balance to strike.
